This year DC Candlelighters turns 20. For our anniversary we are holding a 20 for $20 campaign asking our supports to donate $20, or more, to DC Candlelighters. These donations will help us provide events for our families throughout the year to include: Hospital Visits, Bingo, Game Night, Spa Night, Annual Easter Egg Roll on the National Mall, Rachel's Royal Tea, Family Fun Day, Pumpkin Patch at Cox Farms, Halloween Party and our Holiday Party where every child in the home gets a gift and the family gets a $100 Target Gift Card. DC Candlelighters also offers $1,000.00 per year for financial assistance to families of children in treatment for cancer. DC Candlelighters offers $1,000.00 in funeral assistance. DC Candlelighters proudly offers $1,000.00 scholarships to childhood cancer survivors (aged 17 to 30), to help with the costs of college, graduate school, technical school, or vocational school.
